Public spaces

Check the rules for your location

For United States flag rules, review Title 4, Chapter 1 of the United States Code. For public walking routes, consult the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design and your venue’s own requirements.

Safety comes first

Flags and poles must not block emergency access, public walkways or overhead clearance. If the site is not suitable for the selected hardware, we’ll recommend a different layout.
